Fug Warning
Mental note: It isn’t (and will never ever be) appropriate to wear short gaucho pants and knee-high boots at the same time, no matter what Urban Outfitters tells you. It’s fugly in the catalog, and even fuglier in person. Please, think of the children.

Also:
Dear young women of today,
Please refrain from wearing furry ugly Uggs or derivative of (now-deceased) furry animal boots with mini-skirts. You will *not* be warm, and this wasn’t what the suffragettes wanted. They are turning in their graves, and would like you also to go home and cook yourself some good wholesome meat and potatoes in fat.
Sincerely,
A

I would also like to add that I wore gauchos before they were “trendy” (circa 2002), and I actually really like them with flip flops, or ballet flats in the summer. Pleats, small fitted fluttery sleeves, officer’s collars and light fabrics in women’s shirts are coming back in a big way.
