Skin Deep
Not sure if it was clear in the previous post, but Skin Deep, a site by the Environmental Working Group does a bang-up job of analyzing myriad cosmetics and skincare products for health risks. (Products are helpfully color-coded by threat level so you can figure out how many laps you need to run around like a headless chicken.)
Also, the world’s population is projected to hit 6.5 billion by the end of the week. So breeders please, unless you’ve thought it through, use protection—it could be the most environmental thing you do. (And K-Fed? For the sake of our gene pool, please keep your pants zipped up, kthanxbye.)

I am constantly singing the praises of the Skin Deep site to my friends and anyone who will listen! It’s hard to get my friends to believe that the FDA could sit idly by while cosmetic companies put products on the shelf with many chemicals that have been proven toxic and others that have not been proven safe. I point them to this site as proof.
