Me: Ok, in terms you understand … it’s as if Frodo and Sam traveled ALL THE WAY from the Shire to Mount Doom, but instead of throwing the ring into the lava and destroying it, they set it down on a rock and merrily skipped away.

Too funny! I have to admit my partner is always getting on my case about not putting socks in the laundry basket - though she hardly ever does the dishes so I figure we are even!
