Recycled Catchall Basket

Photo from BTC Elements
A catchall basket made from used (and cleaned, of course) potato-chip wrappers from the streets of Nepal. Fairly traded, and available at BTC Elements for $10.
And I know your day won’t be complete without some coasters made from the same repurposed material. Also from BTC Elements, the $24 silver coaster set handwoven using the reverse foil lining is something I’ll have to try one day. (I’ve just started baking our own trailmix bars for our midafternoon sugar buzz, so it may take a while to gather supplies, which is undoubtedly a good thing.)

Those are really neat-looking! Do you know of any good DIY tutorials for this kind of thing? Google is not helping.

I have the recycled trash can, made from the same material — though it’s too pretty to use as a trash can, so I use it to hold my blowdryer and other cosmetic stuff –
