Ladies Auxiliary Club watches

Photo by the Ladies Auxiliary Club

Besides loving its ultramod company name, I’m also seriously digging the Ladies Auxiliary Club’s new line of watches with cuffs made from vintage fabrics. I wish lady-in-chief Rachel had used secondhand, albeit working, watch faces instead of brand new ones, however. Still, perhaps she’ll take requests and rehabilitate your battleworn tick-tocker if you ask her nicely. ($40, Ladies Auxiliary Club)

    Hi there,

Thanks so much for the mention on your site! I would love to have used old
watch faces, believe me—I found that most don’t have that same shape
with the open bars to thread the fabric through, and I haven’t found a
workaround for that yet. I always have my eye out though, and will make
them if I can find them. If you have an old watch face that needs a new
life, by all means, pass it along with an old piece of fabric and I’ll get
    you a completely custom timepiece!

    Thanks again, and best wishes,
    -Rachel
