I also noticed Bronner's was going Fair Trade. I stopped giving knitted gifts for any certain day. Now they'll turn up when they turn up. It stemmed from a surprising amount of time in the fetal position after "taking stock" or "making a list." Now everyone gets cookies or cakes. It takes a weekend and they have something they love but don't have to care for, or that my cat has secretly dragged through his catbox before turning it into a bed. He's so filthy.

I love Chekhov's mouth-LOL-. Actually, my kids are always asking if chekhov has posted anything new. He has a bit of a fan club here.

ooh, the stab-rather-than-pocket mechanism is smart.

um, a little while ago, you asked about teas we like... for inexpensive, everyday black teas (earl grey, breakfast teas, assam [for making chai, yum]), i love Choice teas--organic, available in fair trade, and tasty. link: http://www.choiceorganicteas.com/fairtradeteas.asp

and on the fair trade front, when i went to refill my Bronner's soap yesterday, i found out they are going fair trade with all their major ingredients. hip hip hooray!!! link: http://www.drbronner.com/fair_trade.html

thanks for the bountiful green information/ideas. i love it over here.
