interesting article . . . the whole issue makes me wonder, though, how we can be so smug when the U.S. acted like such a spoiled brat when france/europe said no thanks to our “tainted” meat and such (bovine growth hormone . . . ). without taking the time to remind myself of the details, i think in the end we forced the wto to make them buy our gmo products. while none of this kills pets, etc., it still highlights one more instance of U.S. narcissism.
