Vogue Knitting Turns 25

Graphic by Vogue Knitting
To commemorate its 25th silver anniversary, Vogue Knitting is releasing its Fall 2007 issue with 10 variant covers. You can check out all 10 designs on its Web site, as well as download the patterns to knit them, for free.
“Silver Belle” is my pick of the litter, although sweaters are probably the furthest thing on my heat-addled mind right now. (Chekhov is currently splayed out in front of the fan like a bearskin rug.) Which is your favorite?

Oh wow … what a tough choice. I’d have to go with the “Bigger is Better” one - I’m such a lump, hehe.

I used to have a Vogue knitting book from the 1980s, all batwing sleeves and shoulder pads and big diamonds of jade and cerise intarsia. Oh God, and the eye makeup. I remember a ski sweater I made from it for my boyfriend. I wish I still had the book - it would give me a good laugh whenever I was feeling low.

Oh wow. Silver Streak was the first to catch my eye.
My second vote would go to Sparkle.
Thanks for sharing this!

I’m with you–Silver Belle all the way. I have a number of things to work my way through before I can start on it, but it’s on the top of my list.
