Kitten-Napping

Here’s a bed I sewed for Mir—he’s a boy kitty, for those who’ve asked—last night, following a great tutorial I found online. I used leftover fabrics from previous projects, as well as fiberfill salvaged from a couple of discarded pillows. I’m no big whiz with the sewing machine, but this was an easy-enough project that took under an hour. Considering how pricey pet beds can be (upwards of $60, I believe), this was a low-impact and zero-cost endeavor that—according to my sister, anyway—looks store-bought.

The fact that you got your kitty to enjoy the bed that you got/made for him is pretty damn impressive. My cats prefer our futon. Or the clothes shelves.

This is awesome! And what a cutie patootie! I feel a little guilty now that all I provided for our newest rescue was a folded towel.
It won’t be long before Chekhov will be uh…at least more tolerant…of his new housemate.

Ooh, make that _luxury_ store-bought! How I wish I could sew!

What a great way to use up old items and make the kitty happy! And your cat actually USES it. If I made that, it would be ignored completely by mine.

Beautiful little man!
Like others have commented my cat would completely ignore that lovely little pillow.
But the puppers would love it!

OMG!! Your kitteh looks just like mine! Is he sneaky? Stealthy? Super smart and snuggly? I think we may have a super-kitten invasion on our hands.

OMG! I want this kitty. It’s so unfair, JASMIN. UNFAIR, I tell you.
